It’s the end of the month and time to do a monthly update. Even though this is the first. I have decided to do a Monthly update to post here on the last day of the month. And send out to my email list.

Summer Photos
As summer arrives and we are spending more time outdoors I would like to do more outdoor photo sessions. Chesapeake Country Roads
In April, after the Chesapeake Country All-American Road designation by the Federal Highway Administration, I discovered that for the past several years that what I have been documenting life, history and the heritage associated with these country roads. Recently I created the Website for a new project Chesapeake Country Roads where Iwill be posting photos and updates. There will be a few products produced including a set of Greeting Cards (which are already available), a Calendar (a 16 month 2021-22 planned for release in early July), and a photo-book (planned for 4th quarter 2021)

Points of Interest on the ChesaDel Crier
Last fall I began a series of Photo-essays on unique “Points of Interest” near me on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Beginning in January the Online Arts and Entertainment site ChesaDel Crier has allowed me to post a weekly photo-essay. They had been being published every Friday. Beginning in June they will become a Sunday Feature. You can find them at ChesaDelCrier.com/PointsofInterest

Marker Monday
Each Monday on Instagram @SGAtkinson_Photographer I post information about one of the many Highway Historical Markers on MD Eastern Shore. Yes, those very ones you go by every day and wonder what they say.

I know this is a lot of information, but it is the first update on the projects I have been doing since the beginning of 2021. I’m sure that the one at the end of June will be much shorter.
