As September turns to October one can certainly begin to see the season change as the warm days that began the month are turning cooler. As I look back on the month it seemed to be a very busy one, but at the same time not so much.
I began the month with a Social Media series of “21 Days to Fall” a collection of 21 photos that I produced during the Summer of ’21. See all of these photos in my post 21 Days to Fall
I turned my Wednesday’s into a day of networking with a BNI meeting first thing in the morning, then I’ve begun scheduling 1-on-1’s with other persons in business followed with a Business Networking open lunch. How important is this as a photographer. I’m a person of business and it’s certainly is something I feel is valuable. It’s not about selling, but forming relationships with others so that when they know of someone who is looking for a photographer or a piece of photographic art for their wall or a gift they will recommend me.
As a photojournalist the month of September has been busy. A couple of Ribbon Cuttings, an Award presentation, Color Run and a few others. It really felt good to get out to cover events after nearly a year and half of inactivity.
I’m looking forward to getting out and capturing Autumn photos and sharing them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
One project that has always been in mind when I began Chesapeake County Roads was to publish a Photo-Book. And it’s now being moved to the front burner. I’ll soon be selecting the photographs for it and creating the pages. Using the Patreon platform and my page on that site I will be posting updates. Your support by following that page Patreon.com/ShoreToBeFun is very much appreciated.
As are the coffee that I receive through Ko-fi
In closing, the Holiday Season hasn’t quite arrived, but the sales from this year’s Calendars are going well.
Do you know someone who enjoy the scenes seen on Maryland’s Eastern Shore? Don’t you think they would really enjoy hanging some of those scenes on their wall?
Get them a Chesapeake Country Scene Calendar!
Have a Great October and see you Soon
