Since Christmas my business and I has been mostly in hibernation. I have only recently been venturing out to photograph the region. The Shop at 103 West Sunset in Greenboro, MD has been closed more often than open. Really the only constant has been my Networking and even that has been affected by the weather.

As I mentioned in my February up-date, with the passing of February into March I know that Winter is more or less over and Spring is in the air.

The winter has bothered me more this year than it has any other time. I’m not sure if it’s because of the cold, or that I am getting older. Probably a little bit of both.

On February 20th a new Highway Historical Marker was put up for Frederick Douglass. I did not hear about it until the afterward, I would have attended the dedication if I had known. I did stop by to get a few photos of the marker and added a post on my Explore Chesapeake Country site. I am putting together plans to do some exploration.

I would love to sell some of my Photographic Art Canvas and Prints that are hanging on the wall at the Studio/Gift Shop and replace them with new ones. For the next few weeks they will on sale at 10% off.

On Thursday March 13, 2025 I will be having a Welcome Spring/St Patrick Open House at the shop. I do plan to debut a few New prints, a contest to pick your discount, and a Tea Tasting with some teas I am thinking about offering.

With Spring, there are a few Gift Giving events, Easter, Mother’s Day and Graduation. I will be marketing custom made gifts, on various items including Coffee Mugs, Slates, Key Chains, Puzzles, Mouse Pads and other items. These could feature one of my Chesapeake Country Photographs or one that the customer supplies.
