It’s Labor Day. Sure I should be taking the day off, but I’ve realized that it’s be some time since the last update. Shortly after the July update I was photographing the boat docking during Waterman’s Day in Rock Hall. The event was coming to a close and I was on my way off the the docks. I took a couple of steps and was hit with a heat stroke. Since then I thought I hd recovered fine. Within the past few weeks I am discovering I am not fully recovered.
July has always been a busy month. I photographed a community theatre’s Summer Youth production. I was able to do that, being inside. However I also work with my local 4-H and their county fair. It’s usually during the hottest time of the summer, which was true again this year, I decided after attending the opening ceremony, the heat was too much for me and only attended the opening day.
I’m sure I announced in my last update that I was closing the Gift Shop in Greensboro, MD and moving my Photo Art to Denton, MD during late July with the plan to open a Gallery in Denton. It was during the moving and cleaning process that I discovered I really wasn’t over the heat stroke. In fact even though I am feeling much better, I am still not complely well.
I am moved into the Photography Art gallery. There are still things to do. I need to hang photographs on the walls and may still move some things around. I am opening by appointment with plans to be there on Thursdaysnand Fridays afternoons.
A Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting is scheduled for Thursday September 18, 2025 from 4-6pm.
During the past couple of years I had been focused on running a Gift Shop and less on being a photographer. I’m a little rusty working with individuals and am wanting to do a few Free photoshoots for the portfolio. Â Contact me for more information.

Since the middle of last year I have been making Name Tags, like the ones that business Individuals wear and Networking events. I am still during those. I also have been producing Mugs, my Crab/MD Flag Mugs with locations have been the most popular. These and other items that businesses can give as gifts will continue to be available.
