After taking nearly a month off, it’s time to get the year started. Actually I don’t know if you could really say I took a month off since during the last few weeks of 2021 and the beginning of this year I have had some serious thoughts about my photography in 2022 and beyond.
Mostly I have moved away from photojournalism, although I will be continuing with the ChesaDel Crier, Kent County Crier and Delmarva’s online Calendar of Events. The Calendar of Events is being rebranded and will appear now at DelmarvaUSA.com and ChesaDel Crier. For the past two years I have been using ShoreToBeFun more as my Personal Brand and that will be continuing.
My photo project Chesapeake Country Roads has been moving on quite well. I am in the process of rebranding my Delmarva Scenes e-Commerce site to be part of Chesapeake Country Roads, since it was essentially this anyway.
The plans for releasing a book of photographs of the Northern Portion of the Chesapeake Country All-American Road to be publish near the end of the 2nd Quarter is moving forward nicely.
Along with adding additional Greeting Cards sets under the imprint of Chesapeake Country Roads, I will be offering Prints of my photographs. These will be available soon. Anyone who signs up for my eMail list will receive a Limited Edition Greeting Card. Sign up at ChesapeakeCountryRoads.com/gift.I could certainly use your support. Purchase a card set or a print. Subscribe to my Patreon page – Patreon.com/ShoreToBeFun (Thank you to those who have) and of course read the two weekly features Photo of the Week (Thursdays) and Drives With Steve (Sundays).
Oh, I almost forgot to mention that Coming soon is major announcement about a project that is closely related to Chesapeake Country Roads.
Even though I will be spending much of my time on the Fine Art aspect of my photography, I still will be doing Business Branding Photo Sessions, especially Head Shots, and Artistic Portraiture sessions.
Looking out my window as I’m writing this it is becoming obvious that even though it’s cold outside, the light of the days are getting longer and the darkness of the evening isn’t coming as soon. It feels good. I am looking forward to the warmer days ahead and doing my “Drives”.
