Watching Winter End and Looking Forward to Spring

The best I can say about February is that I’m glad it’s over. As we all have experienced it was a strange month with some days going from highs in the 60’s and lows in the 20’s, sometimes in the same day. With all of these temperature changes its no wonder that for the past two weeks of February I’ve been fighting a cold, one that has keep me inside and doing very little.

This past Saturday was the first day I was out in over a week and I must say I saw a beautiful sight. It may not look like much, but I’m seeing Crocuses and even though I am sure they aren’t native to Kent County, or the Eastern Shore, the sight if them brings me a relation that spring is coming. This almost, if not more, than the arrival of the first Osprey. And those should be arriving very soon too.

I am hoping to get out a couple of times this month to document the arrival of spring. I’d love to hear what you may want to see.

Portrait in NatureFrom the business side I will be working with the Caroline County Camber of Commerce on a couple of projects. I’m still out to do spring nature portraits and whatever other type of personal portraits that are wanted. I still feel that everyone should have Portraits done of them throughout their lives. And I try to make it as affordable as possible. Even as low as $100 or less.

What’s else is going on in March?.

On March 25th, I’ll officially launch the Explore Chesapeake Country informational Website. Due to my health issues in February it won’t be as complete as originally planned, but still I think it’ll be at a good start.

Then around April 8th, I am picking that day since it would have been my Grandmother’s 112th Birthday, I will be launching new Greeting Cards and Wall Art under the Chesapeake Country Roads imprint. Want to get an early limited edition sample of a greeting cards? Be sure to sign-up for the mailing list at ChesapeakeCountryRoads.com

Have a great March everyone. It’s my goal to have one. See you at the Beach
