I’m not fooled when April 1st comes since it’s the beginning of one of my favorite seasons. The other is Autumn.
March has been a good month. Although I think someone has to remind it that it’s suppose to come in like an lion and go out like a lamb. This year it’s been completely the opposite. This past week felt more like February, although the sights and sounds are very much April-like. The beginning of the month saw some great weather to take a couple of trip to shoot the change of the seasons. Speaking of Chesapeake Country Road, the e-commerce portion of that site will be going live very shortly. ChesapeakeCountryRoads.com/store. Initially there will be Greeting Cards and Prints available. Calendars will be coming during the 3rd Quarter of this year. Thank You for supporting this project and my goal to show those heading to the Maryland and Delaware Beaches that there are fantastic sights to see just off of the major roads they usually travel.
My beloved Church Hill Theatre opened their 2022 season on March 25th with Neil Simon’s Last of the Red Hot Lovers. In fact more than likely as you read this the show is still in production running the 1st two weekends of April. The final show is on Sunday April 10th. I have two roles in this production. The production’s photographer and Stage Manager. The Theatre’s next production is the musical “Into The Woods” which opens in June. I have the same dual roles in this production too.
And as I said in a post last week, I was honored by the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce as A Chamber Ambassador for 2021. I suppose I can call myself an award winning photographer. I am too humbled to actually publicize it this way though.
I’m looking forward to April and I will be working with the Caroline Chamber on a couple of projects this month. I will be presenting a Small Business Academy workshop on “Your Professional Bio and Photos for Social Media” on April 13th and a Head Shot Clinic which will likely be on April 21st.
