Here it is 10 days into March and I’m just doing my Monthly update. Well at least it is being done, and not skipped which I have done way too much.
I probably should have thought about the fact that February 29th would be a busy day when I decided to schedule my Gallery Show and Open House at the Eclectic Gift Shop, 103 West Sunset in Greensboro MD. While I had a nice turn-out I would have liked to seen a few more people. Since I did sell a couple of my “Absence of Color” Gallery Show prints, I still consider it a success. The Gallery Show continues until March 26th.
The reason it doesn’t continue longer is that I will be doing the first in a series of Workshops. The first is scheduled for Wednesday March 27th. This first one I call “Conversations on Photography Basics”. While I’ll be talking about some of the basics of photography, I am hoping it’ll be a conversation by those in attendance. See my hours at the shop HERE.
I’m glad that Spring is just around the corner. We are now beginning Daylight Saving Time. I like that the light of the day will be a little later.I am hopeful that I can schedule some after hours photo sessions. Either of Mother Nature putting on her spring clothes or people. Even though I always feel like once March arrives the winter is nearly over. Recently I reviewed some of my shots in March over the past 10 years, and I discovered that we have had quite a few snow storms in March.
We are now 70 days into 2024, and even though I did miss a couple of days, my 366 in 24 is still going. I published three photos to bring it up-to-date. Please follow it on FB or IG. Just about every photograph is available as a print.
