Ice on the Choptank

January has been a month that I will simply say was a hard month to get through. Between the snow storms and the freezing temperatures, many days it was hard to get out of the house and honestly somedays to get out from under the warm covers in bed.. The month is coming to an end and even though a few networking events were cancelled all in all it’s been a good month of Networking.

February has arrived, and in my view Winter is now half over. It’s just something about the the 1st of March that says Spring is Here to me.

So what’s going on for me. 1st I am working with the Church Hill Production of a new play by a local Playwright, Earl Lewin, A Brief History of Man that runs from February 6-9, with performances at 7:30 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 2 pm on Sunday. Tickets are available online at churchhilltheatre.org

During January and February the shop hours have been changes and I am only scheduled to be opened on Thursdays from 11am-2pm and Fridays from 2-6pm. Although I will say that even those hours weren’t hit in January. Weather and other life obstacles permitting I plan to keep them in February.

I had hope to have a Valentine’s Event, but that failed to materialize. There are items in the shop that would make for a nice Valentine’s Package, I hope you can come by to create one. I do have a Morning Coffee Networking event scheduled for Monday February 10th, 8:30 am, at the shop in Greensboro. And will be doing Rams Head Shore House for their Networking event on Wednesday February 15th from 4-6. While not officially a Networking on the Shore event, I am promoting it as such.

This month I am focusing on two products. My Note and Greeting Cards (read more about sending cards HERE) and Wall Prints.

I’m still putting together my offerings for my Consulting activities related to Personal Branding/Your Unique Business Identity and plan to have a Group Activity to talk about this project in late February or Early March.
