On the Road from Chestertown, MD to Middletown, DE

I often travel from Chestertown, my home in Maryland, to Middletown, Delaware. I travel this route a couple of times a month. Until this week I hadn’t really though of that as a ‘Drive with Steve’, but as I headed out to Middletown this week I decided to stop and take a few photos along the way.

Photo: Spring Flowers

The first stop really wasn’t a stop at all since, these spring flowers are in my front year.

Drives with Steve: Boats in Georgetown

Just across the Sassafras River in Cecil County sits a number of boats stored for winter. Soon they will be unwrapped and into the harbor at Georgetown.

Drives with Steve: A Family Farm

I don’t know if this is an actual family farm or one that is now part of a farming corporation, but it does look nice from the road. This photo was taken with a return to Chestertown view.

Drives with Steve: Two Lone Silos

I often wonder about the story of these two silos just outside of Middletown. Wonder what they think about their neighbor.

The neighbor for these two lone silos is the new E-Z Pass readers on US 301.
