For the past couple of years I’ve neglected my Website. Shame on me.
I used to share a “Photo of the Week” post here, but it’s been several years since I last did one. That’s certainly not a good thing when my goal is to be known for my photography!
Whether it’s a beautiful landscape, a familiar scene from around Maryland’s Eastern Shore, or a special moment captured at a public event, I have plenty of photographs to share.
Starting in November 2026, I’m bringing back Photo of the Week! Most weeks, I’ll feature something new, so you’ll have a reason to check back and see what I’ve been capturing.
All you have to do is stop by each Friday to discover the latest photograph. You never know what you might see!
Today is the last Friday in October 2026, and here’s a little preview of what’s coming.
Be sure to check back next Friday for the new first official Photo of the Week!

Beginning in 2020, a few residents of the Town of Rock Hall, Kent County, got together and dressed up as witches in late October. Every year since then the fun has grown to a weekend of fun activities and “Witches” coming from miles away, and this year a group from England.
This was the first year I was available to photograph the event.
This photo taken at Ferry Park Beach at 10 o’clock when the Witches came together start the day with them gathered at the beach.
More photos from this event can be found on Facebook – Local in Kent

Note: I also publish the Website “Explore Chesapeake Country” where I have published Photo-essays and other information about Chesapeake County of the Eastern Shore.
