Welcome to my 2nd Gallery Show!

This is one of my earliest Sunset photographs. And it came about very unexpectedly, which isn’t uncommon for many of my photographs. It was Mid-August in 2014 and I was traveling home to Chestertown. I happened to look in my rearview mirror just as I was passing this farm and saw the setting sun. I nearly always have my camera with me, so I pulled it from the bag, after I pulled off to the side of the road, to take this shot. Purchase a print of this photograph at Fine Art America

This sunset at Georgetown Harbor on the Sassafras River wasn’t planned, but was shot on purpose. The Sassafras River Business Council (SRBC) was in the middle of planning for the 2104 Taste of the Sassafras. After the meeting I decided to go to the location where the event was to be held to take a couple of photos to be used to promote the event. Lucky for me it was around sunset. A similar shot taken that evening was used by the Kent County Chamber of Commerce’s 2016-17 Directory cover. Purchase a print of this photograph at Fine Art America

For many years the Town of Chestertown produces a series of concerts that is held at Fountain Park. As a Entertainment Photojournalist I attend most of these concerts. On this night I happen to notice the clouds as the sun was setting was turning gold. Where I was sitting the Fountain was just off to my left. The fountain top is Hebe, cup bearer to the Olympic gods in Greek mythology. Purchase a print of this photographs at Fine Art America.

Ferry Park Beach in Rock Hall, Maryland is on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. It also is a place where many goes to catch the sunset. This wasn’t the first time, not the last time I went to the beach to catch one of the sunset. On this August evening in 2015 I was joined by many, including these two who went out on the rocks of the jetty to view the sunset. At first I was a bit upset, then I realized that I should just add them into the photo.

I was working in my office/studio on this November evening in 2015 when I happened to see the sunset noticing how the sky went from orange to blue with just a sliver of the moon visible.

Just another sunset at Ferry Park Beach in Rock Hall in early December of 2015.
