It was the closing seconds of the Maryland 1A East Region playoff game between Patterson Mill and the host team Kent County. Kent held a three point lead as the Patterson Mill player put up a 3-point shot just before the buzzer sounded. Shocking the crowd the shot found its mark to tie the game.

Patterson Mill would control the final minutes of the overtime period to win the game at 90-85.
