Summer is my busy time traveling around the Delmarva Peninsula photographing events. Since I’m so busy I decided that summer wasn’t really good for me to try to put together a Gallery Show.
Often when I’m out I will shoot an artistic scene and that’s the theme of this Galley Show.
The Summer Months are different for everyone. For many it’s the time between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Some expand it to begin on May 1st and ends on the last day of September. Others think of it from the First Day of Spring to the First Day of Autumn.
Mine is close to this. For me the Summer Season is from the beginning of April until the end of October. I know that it also includes parts of Spring and Fall. My favorite time of the year are these two season. At least the time when the weather becomes warmer in the Spring and until it gets cooler in the fall.
Here are seven of my favorite ‘Artistic’ photographs from the Summer of ’19. All seven months!

April is the time when you see many flowers and trees beginning to bud. I have a couple of large trees in my front year and I love watching them leaves begin to break out.

It was a rainy day when I looked out my bathroom window to see this lone rose that appeared to be crying in the rain. Sometimes you don’t have to travel very far to get a photo.

In recent years the area’s Rotary Clubs place Memorial Flags. The displays are amazing. This one was still flying on the lawn of the Denton, MD Court House just a few days before Flag Day.

On the 4th of July there are Fireworks. However this photo taken in Harrington, DE during their Annual Heritage Day in August. The fireworks were done in conjunction with the City’s 150 Anniversary Celebration. The Train Museum Tower and Caboose makes for an interesting backdrop for the fireworks

Is it Halloween? No! This gal came to Rock Hall, MD for Pirates and Wenches Weekend.

Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge is not all that far from where I live. However, I hadn’t taken a photo trip there. In September I decided to finally go and caught lots of butterfly photos. I plan on making this location one that I return to quite often. Come to think of it, another trip needs to be taken soon.

Maryland doesn’t have any naturally occurring lakes, but there are a few man-made ones. This one is near Fairlee, MD and ironically is named Fairlee Lake.

Early in 2018, since I do not have a Gallery nor am I associated with one, I thought it would be nice to create what realistically would be a Gallery Show only it would be posted online on my Web site.
This is the 6th one I’ve done. The others were:
Icy Kent
Sunsets
Delmarva Christmas
2018 Remembered
Reflection and Reflections
Thank You
